  • RENTAL SEASONS 2017/2018 (some villas can vary):

    • New Year: Dec 29, 2017 - Jan 5, 2018  
    • High Season: Jan 6 - march 25, 2018
    • Eastern Week: march 26 - Apr 2, 2018
    • Low Season: Apr 3 - Jun 30, 2018
    • High Season: July 1 - Aug 31, 2018
    • Low Season: Sept 1 - Dec 21 2018
    • x-mas/newyear: dec 22 - jan 5, 2018

    PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS:

    • Payments: At reservation a deposit is required from 50% of the total + 25 usd (extra local bank costs) to confirm your reservation. Final payment (+ 25 usd bank costs) not later than 7 days (some villas have other specific pay-dates) before entering the villa. Payments can only be done by wire tranfer. We do not accept credit card or paypal.
    • Security and damage deposit: The security and damage deposits varies from villa to villa and needs to be paid in cash (some villas have other requirements) at the moment you enter the villa and will be refunded when you leave the villa. If nothing is damaged and/or missing.
    • Cancellations: The only option is changing your dates (for the same price of course) if you can not come. There will be no refund. We strongly recommend purchasing a travel / rental insurance. 
    • Occupancy by the numbers: no parties, weddings or large groups allowed in the villas without written permission. Villas may not be occupied by more guests than specified in the rental contract. Rates are based on occupancy and additional fees may apply.

    AIRPORTS & TRANSPORTS:

    • Las Americas international airport at Santo Domingo is at 1 hr and 30 minutes driving from Las Terrenas. Brand new highways bring you to here. These are toll roads so you need around 1.000 pesos in cash to pass the different toll units. In case you rent a car.
    • El Catey (AZS) international airport in Samana is at 15 minutes from Las Terrenas. Only direct flights from Canada with several carriers and some European countries. The toll highway from the airport to Las Terrenas is 533 pesos (creditcards not accepted. Only cash). At this moment there are no flights from USA to El Catey airport in Samana.
    • If you like we can arrange taxi transport for your group. Please ask for prices. From normal taxis to large 50+ persons busses.
